BA Hons. Interior & Spatial Designer.

Rose is Head of Interior Design at ZMA.

Rose is a highly creative and passionate interior designer with over a decade of experience in the industry. An award-winning professional, she earned her first-class honors degree in Interior Design in 2015. Rose has worked across both commercial and residential sectors, successfully leading large-scale, high-profile projects such as museums, hotels, luxury homes, high-end retail spaces, bars & restaurants. Her expertise spans from heritage restorations to new builds.

"To me, interior design is about creating spaces where people can live, experience, and connect. Comfort, well-being, and authenticity are at the core of every design."

Rose believes in the power of design to enhance human connection and everyday life. She approaches each project with the goal of crafting spaces that are authentic, comfortable, and visually engaging, using quality materials and a bespoke approach.

“My favourite type of project has to be transforming existing buildings. I love the challenge of trying to work out the puzzle of meeting the client’s brief and budget within the limitations of the existing building. It is quite unbelievable what can be achieved with an existing property.”

While she thrives in the initial stages of creating a design vision, Rose equally values the importance of technical precision and ensuring projects are both functional and budget-conscious. Rose combines her creative flair with strong technical skills, having mastered drafting and 3D modeling software early in her career. She delivers all her designs in 3D, providing clients with a clear and realistic understanding of their space.

Joining the ZMA team is a significant milestone for Rose, and she is excited to contribute to the firm’s prestigious portfolio while helping grow its interior design department. A personal enthusiast of Danish design, Rose loves its effortless combination of traditional and modern elements, using timeless pieces to add personality through art and color. She believes good design should be simple, functional, and beautiful.

Born and raised in Lancashire, Rose is deeply passionate about promoting quality design in the region. She lives with her architect husband Stephen, their son Sebastian, and their French bulldog Yoko, as they work on renovating their mid-century dream home.
